Information was extracted from patient file with full respect to HIPPA and research was obtained through reliable resources to give accurate information on Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The goal of this research is to help spread awareness on breast cancer and how one can be proactive even before detection of cancer. This helps explain the importance of at home self-examinations and annual mammograms. Alongside ultrasound other modalities such as mammogram, MRI, PET scans, and core needle biopsies are proven to identify breast cancer. In conclusion, Invasive Ductal carcinoma can spread through the lymphatic system and metastasize, therefore, it is important to know the signs and your treatment options.
